Finding the right dentist shouldn’t feel like settling for the closest office or simply checking a box on your healthcare list. You deserve a dental team that knows your name, understands your goals, and provides care that supports your health for years to come. Led by Dr. Mark Bydalek and Dr. Andrew Tang, our team has built a reputation for combining advanced technology, exceptional clinical care, and genuine relationships.

At River Valley Dental, we believe dentistry should be personal, comfortable, and centered around the individual. Located in a beautifully restored 1860s farmhouse in nearby Sergeantsville, our practice has become a trusted dental home for patients throughout Raritan Township, Hunterdon County, and the Delaware River Valley.

A Different Kind of Dental Experience

From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll notice that River Valley Dental feels different.

Our office was intentionally designed to create a welcoming, relaxing environment that feels more like visiting friends than visiting the dentist. Every detail- from the warm atmosphere to the personalized attention you receive is part of our commitment to making dental care a positive experience.

We take the time to listen, answer questions, and understand what matters most to you. Appointments are never rushed. Treatment recommendations are never based on pressure. Instead, we focus on honest conversations, education, and collaborative decision-making so you can feel confident about your care.

Our philosophy is simple: preserve healthy teeth whenever possible, recommend only what is truly needed, and always place the patient’s best interest first.

Comprehensive Dentistry Under One Roof

One of the reasons patients from Raritan Township choose River Valley Dental is the convenience of having comprehensive dental care in one location.

Our practice offers a full range of preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and implant services, allowing patients to receive the majority of their care from a team they already know and trust.

We have invested in advanced technology typically found in much larger practices, including:

  • Solea® laser dentistry for many drill-free and needle-free procedures
  • CEREC® same-day crowns designed, created, and placed in a single visit
  • Advanced 3D imaging and digital scanning for enhanced diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Diagnodent® laser cavity detection for identifying decay in its earliest stages
  • Digital technology that improves comfort, precision, and efficiency
  • CandidPro invisible aligners
  • GLO Teeth Whitening System

This technology allows us to diagnose problems earlier, treat them more conservatively, and often eliminate the need for multiple appointments or outside referrals.

Dental Implants for Missing Teeth

Missing teeth can affect far more than your smile. They can impact your confidence, chewing ability, oral health, and overall quality of life.

River Valley Dental provides comprehensive dental implant solutions ranging from single-tooth replacement to full-arch restoration. Because your treatment is managed by the same doctors who oversee your ongoing dental health, every recommendation is made with a complete understanding of your long-term needs.

Our goal is not simply to replace missing teeth—it’s to restore comfort, function, confidence, and quality of life.

Cosmetic Dentistry Designed Around You

Most clear aligner cases for mild to moderate alignment take anywhere from six to eighteen months, depending on the complexity of the movement involved. At the start of treatment, we’ll take a full digital scan of your teeth and walk you through your projected treatment timeline before you commit to anything.

You’ll wear your trays for 20 to 22 hours per day, the main exceptions being meals and brushing your teeth. Because they’re removable, there are no food restrictions, and cleaning your teeth is exactly the same as it’s always been. Some patients experience a mild pressure sensation for a day or two after switching to a new tray, which is normal and a sign that the trays are doing their job.

Check-in appointments are typically spaced out every six to eight weeks, so treatment doesn’t demand a lot of your time in the chair. If you’ve been putting off orthodontic treatment because you assumed it would mean frequent visits and constant adjustments, clear aligners are a meaningful departure from that experience.

For patients curious about cost, we work with CareCredit and Cherry financing to help make treatment accessible, and our in-house dental membership plan, available at around $25 per month, can offset the cost of your accompanying preventive care throughout treatment.

The Connection Between Oral Health and Overall Wellness

Modern dentistry goes far beyond treating teeth.

Research continues to demonstrate the connection between oral health and overall health, including links between gum disease, inflammation, cardiovascular health, and blood sugar management. At River Valley Dental, we view preventive dentistry as an important part of maintaining total-body wellness.

Our patients appreciate having conversations that extend beyond cavities and cleanings. We help patients understand how oral health fits into the larger picture of living well, aging well, and protecting long-term health.

Making Quality Dental Care Accessible

River Valley Dental focuses on providing the highest standard of care without being limited by insurance company restrictions.

To help make treatment affordable, we offer:

  • An affordable in-house membership plan
  • CareCredit financing
  • Cherry payment plans
  • HSA and FSA payment options

We are happy to process your dental insurance benefit and file claims on behalf of patients with PPO insurance plans to help maximize available benefits.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
